what do you think of the new look?

While working as a designer at an agency in London, I had the opportunity to work with various brands on a variety of projects. One of these projects was to redesign the McDonald’s McCafé cup for the UK market.
As soon as I was given the brief for this project I was part of a small team, and together we started by looking at previous versions of the cup, and then we came up with sketches.
All together there were over 60 different designs made just at the concept stage. Here are a few of mine.
Those we liked were further into mock-ups to see how the cups would look, eventually coming to the final product.
These were placed in the ads and promotional material used both in and out of the restaurant branches.
This is a comparison between the old design for the packaging and what the new design will look like
Due to some last-minute changes, we had to get rid of the texture on the cup in favour of a smoother design.
